These Rules are binding and an integral part of the Terms and Conditions. By signing up and participating, you agree to them.

Before you head out. SingleOFF lives and dies by one thing — how we treat each other. While SingleOFF representatives may attend events, it's not always a requirement. That's why we believe that if we all stick to a few simple rules, it will be an evening you leave feeling good. Here's the agreement you're committing to.

Part A — How to make it a great evening (best practices)

These aren't legal clauses. It's common courtesy that makes everyone feel good.

  1. Be honest. Don't pretend to be someone you're not. Honesty is sexy and saves everyone time and disappointment.
  2. Handle rejection — and be able to give it. "No" is a complete sentence, and no one needs to apologize for it. If you're rejected, take it with grace. If you're rejecting someone, be kind and clear.
  3. Don't lead anyone on. Don't offer false hope just for attention. If you know it's not going anywhere, say it directly. Politely, but directly.
  4. Be present and curious. Put your phone away (except for in-app instructions), look people in the eye, ask questions. Interest in others is the best first move.
  5. Include others. If you see someone standing alone, bring them into the group. No one should end up in a corner.
  6. Respect boundaries and pace. Some people are chatty right away, others need time. Both are fine. Don't push.
  7. Consent above all. No touch, photo, or "let's go somewhere else" without the other person's clear yes.
  8. Leaving is normal. If there's a spark, feel free to disappear together. And if there's no spark, that's fine too — maybe next time.

Humanly speaking: Treat others the way you'd want to be treated, or the way you'd want your sister to be treated. That's it.

Part B — Safety and Binding Rules (and what to do if a problem arises)

This part is mandatory. Each point also includes what to do if you encounter an issue. Since we're not physically present as supervisors, you can handle many things directly in the app via the Problem button.

  1. Age 18+. Events are for adults only.
What to do: If someone at the event is demonstrably under 18, open Problem → Report → "Someone here is demonstrably under 18" in Live. The app will ask you to politely ask them to leave (we are 18+ only). The report will reach the administrator (and a Guardian, if assigned), who will locate and block the account, and if a crime is suspected, will forward the matter to the authorities.
  2. No harassment or violence. Sexual harassment, coercion, threats, intimidation, stalking, or violence have no place at SingleOFF. Zero tolerance.
What to do: In case of immediate danger, use Problem → SOS and call 112. If it's not an emergency, use Problem → Report → "Harassment / inappropriate behavior" and feel free to move elsewhere or leave.
  3. No discrimination or hatred. No humiliation or hateful expressions due to gender, origin, orientation, faith, appearance, or health.
What to do: Report via Problem → Report. You don't have to argue — we're here to resolve it.
  4. Consent and boundaries. Respect "no". Physical contact only with consent. If someone wants peace, give it to them.
What to do: If someone doesn't respect your boundaries, state it clearly and, if necessary, Report, or in case of danger, SOS/112.
  5. Privacy of others. Do not photograph or record other participants without their explicit consent, and do not share others' data.
What to do: If someone is recording you without consent, ask them to stop and delete the recording; if they don't, Report.
  6. No dangerous or illegal things. No drugs, weapons, or dangerous behavior. Alcohol only in moderation.
What to do: In case of danger, SOS/112, otherwise Report and distance yourself from the situation.
  7. Respect public space. Observe laws, night quiet, cleanliness, and consideration for the surroundings and the venue.
What to do: Clean up after yourself; if someone is damaging the space, Report.
  8. You are responsible for yourself. You are responsible for your health, belongings, sobriety, appropriate clothing for the weather, and safe travel to and from the event.
What to do: Dress for the weather, keep an eye on your belongings, charge your phone (you'll be using the app for 90+ minutes).
  9. Emergency. In the app, you have an SOS button — quick contact to the organizers and to the 112 line.
What to do: In case of immediate danger, call 112. SOS works even without the app — 112 is a phone number.
  10. We take reports seriously.
What to do: Report anything inappropriate via Problem → Report or to dan@singleoff.cz. The report is saved, and we address the consequences.
  11. No commercial recruitment. No MLM, sales, recruitment, or promotion. You came to meet people, not to sell.
What to do: If someone is recruiting or selling to you at the event, use Problem → Report → "Commercial recruitment / sales". The app will ask you to politely ask them to leave; the report will reach the administrator/Guardian.
  12. Protection of the vulnerable. Any behavior endangering minors or exploiting someone's vulnerabilities is immediately reported to the authorities.
What to do: In case of suspicion, SOS/112 and Report.

Part C — Who belongs at the event: active ticket holders

  1. Only people with an active ticket for the specific event — meaning with the SingleOFF Live app running on their phone — are allowed at a SingleOFF event.
  2. Proof of participation: A running Live app serves as proof that you belong at the event (it shows an active ticket for the specific event). If you're unsure if someone belongs, show each other Live.
What to do: Anyone who cannot show an active ticket (running Live) does not belong at the event — politely ask them to leave and use Problem → Report.

Part D — Responsibility and Consequences

  1. The operator is not present at the event as a supervisor. They provide the application and organizational framework, are not physically present as a moderator, security, or host, and do not assume responsibility for the actions, expressions, or safety among participants. Events are self-managed and take place in public spaces.
  2. Participation at your own risk. By participating, you accept the natural risks of meeting unknown people live (see Terms and Conditions, Articles 4 and 5) and act at your own risk. This does not affect the Operator's legal liability for what they cause by breaching their duties.
  3. The operator does not vet participants (identity, integrity, intentions). Contact with others is at your own discretion.
  4. Consequences of violation. The Operator may exclude anyone from the event and block their account without compensation. Serious cases (violence, harassment, endangerment of minors) are reported to the Czech Police and cooperation is provided.
  5. Safety first. In the interest of safety, the Operator may change or cancel an event (weather, public order, force majeure); affected Tickets will be refunded or rescheduled in such cases.
  6. Agreement to the rules is a condition of participation. By participating, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Rules. They apply together with the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

Finally, humanly speaking. We created SingleOFF so people can meet nicely and safely. When everyone contributes a bit of decency, it works itself out. Thanks for being a part of it. Enjoy — and be kind to each other.
